History

Azucar was founded in 2000 at Florida State University by two Latinos who simply wanted to dance. Little did Carlos Nunez and Angel Hernandez know, that after all these years, and after graduating from college and moving on to different endeavors in their lives, ¡Azúcar! would be alive and thriving. ¡Azúcar!, and the Tallahassee community pay homage to these two young and ambitious entrepreneurs for introducing salsa to Florida's capital.

This page is dedicated to them and to all the previous members who helped ¡Azúcar! come this far. Their contributions will always be appreciated, and they will forever be part of ¡Azúcar! history!
